I can't speak for pvp servers but I'm sure it's a nightmare.
Forced kiting? Haven't seen anything that requires it to be kited unless that's a pvp thing.
Beam was easily avoided on dps/heal characters and with tanks I hit defensive and deflection. Hardly a scratch, just the annoying stun for a few seconds.
I probably wouldn't be as thrilled if I were actually trying to farm this one. Just killed it once on every character for the update plus two extras when I lucked out logging in to a boss being up.

You are right, this boss does not seem to "force" to kite. Still i see it kited around a lot during the bubble and it seems to switch aggro easily around that phase too.

As long as nobody uses a taunt, it doesn't switch. it seems to have a very stable aggro.

still have buff from March
All of my toons still have the buff for the Slayer of the Dusk Fiend from March, even though there have been 2 world bosses since and they all have gotten the buffs for them. Does anyone else have this? What can I do so that, in the event I am still able to play next spring, I can get credit for the Dusk Fiend then?
