Quest: The Love of a Countess

I can't seem to collect the Ring of a Fallen Star for this quest. I travel to the map marker in the Field of the Dead where I find an NPC named Cerdia but nothing to do once I get there. I assume she is supposed to help me with the ring but she has no dialogue options beyond "Tell me about yourself" and "Goodbye". I've tried dropping the quest and starting over a few times but no luck. Am I missing something or is this quest bugged?

I finished the quest only 5 days ago I think, maybe the new patched messed up something. Anyway, the ending is dissapointing so no real need to bother xD
