In Game Chat -- Weird Grid & Will Not Display Chat

Has this happened to anyone before?

I"ll list what I've tried and the info that people usually ask for.

--My hardware far exceeds what is required. 6700k, 1080TI, etc
--All drivers are up to date. OS is up to date, Win 10 Pro.
--I've tried turning the game from Low/Med/High graphics settings. Tried turning shadows, AAs etc off and on, restarting the client. If it's an options setting I may have missed it since there are a billion options to change.
--Changing resolutions ranging from 800x600 to 3840x2160 changing from DX9 to 10.
--Repairing the installation.

I'm at a loss. I don't remember this happening last time I tried the game back in 2010.

I tried this as a last resort.

It appears there is a random setting in the Nvidia Settings control panel that causes it. Allowing the application to control the 3D settings instead of forcing settings solved the issue.

Yep, this is as you already confirmed, a problem with nvidia controlpanel setting.

Oh wow, thanks ! I've been having this issue for a while now and had given up on fixing it. I'll give this a try tonight.
