I count one pumpkin boss (which actually was nice, but only available during special event), some scripts possibly and a lot of graphical glitches and bugs (see through armor, black shadow armor paintings, weird girdles, missing game textures (nodes) and world placeables (mountains, cages etc.) as stuff that came as "synergy".
The time Funcom spent on the engine update lost them a lot of players. Players left in droves back then, as work on AoC apparently had stopped completely. No updates, no previews, no information at all. To this day, the benefit of that update seems unclear.

    Let's be constructive then.

For the players who don't know, the only thing being worked on right now regarding AoC specifically is T6, the palace of Cetriss, the first 5 encounters have been seen on TL, and are tweaked to improve balance. Only the 6th and last encounter is yet to be discovered.
It all looks pretty sweet, the palace of cetriss itself being very good looking, definitely a cool place.

As we know, there will be 2 levels of difficulty, so the place will not be exclusively for high end raid teams but will be something everyone can enjoy.

The T6 mage and rogue sets are on display on the TL forums along with the first batch of stats, here :
    http://forums-tl.ageofconan.com/show...?60327-T6-Loot

Those stats are stil very much a work in progress and FC is working on making them relevant compared to T5 gear without blowing the stats budget.
The priests and soldiers sets had also been showned briefly a while ago and all we can say is that the looks do fit dragon spine very well. Liking those looks will be a matter of taste as usual, but nothing seems out of place and it's all rather consistant with the atmosphere.

The dev team was in vacation (still is maybe ?), thus nothing moved the past month. September/october though might, hopefully, see the final stage of the T6 designing phase.

Now, there is also a big thing being worked on for TSW that will also be ported to AoC, allegedly.
    This is the dungeon finder.
That kind of tool has been asked for many times along the years, mainly by new players when they start/try AoC. Much less so by veterans, that for obvious reasons.

First, is such tool confirmed to be ported to AoC ? We heard about it once and nothing since then. Can anyone confirm it ?

Second, is that dungeon finder in TSW linked to the challenge system ? I believe i did read somewhere that it would be the case.
So if the challenge system and the dungeon finder are linked, does that mean both will be ported to AoC ?

I appreciate the effort but it's time to stop posting these letters because they are just an excuse for people to make a feedback thread and whine about them because it's mostly all stuff we know anyway, and it does more harm than good. Game is in the same state it was in 2013, they work on one thing at a time, just as they did then, the difference is that in 2013 we were getting false promises every month. But then, if the community demands false promises, that's easy, just start talking about a new Khitai size expansion or something to keep them happy .

I'd rather see some player focus stuff again and other random fun things from community managers, Cirith taking the odd interview (like the Slith one) here and there (that had more dev stuff than anything posted this year), and development posts to be thrown up there's something new to say.

    Not really.
This interview is what i referred to when i said that the dungeon finder had been mentionned. Basically, without this source, no one would even know that a dungeon finder is in the work.
Wouldn't it be common sense to pass on that kind of information in a development letter ?
And since that on-the-side info, not a word.

And the other question was about the challenge system which is already in place in TSW and provides daily and weekly missions/tasks.

    well... NO

new ppl too lazy to explore the playfields, too dumb to read a map and find marked dungeons, not enough interest in game to put a LFG up in Global?? if any of these can be answered with 'Yes' a Dungeon Finder is obsolete!

damnit, how could we get through game 7 yrs ago without a dungeon finder?? how, oh how did we just find all those dungeons?? did we form groups by simply stumbling into each other by accident?? Has putting some efforts in the game become 'Out' and is it 'In' now to just whine for getting stuff handserved... Jeez

devs could be working on really useful stuff instead...
