    If there's ever 20 people or so still playing the game and interested in organizing PvP stuff to avoid these depressing minis 24/7 i'd probably log more than twice a month. PvP is also community based. There are lots of tools to create fun and challenging PvP encounters with various rule set and still possibly rewarding XP and token wise...

    Same amount of players but with the same naïve enthousiasme as in 2008... and i wouldn't even bother thinking about what funcom can do, i'd be having fun on the plateforme regardless.
    What's the point having population when you treat people you meet like mobs? ...

    Well when you've got the 10/10 best game ever games like lego minifigures online, and the secret world, you've gotta abandon your main supporter group. YOU JUST HAVE TO!

    I'm usually pretty negative about FUNCOMs lack of support/attention as of late; but THAT statement made me think ~ where's the data to support that AoC supports(ed) any major portion of LEGO? TSW, Ill give you ... but LEGO?

    They have [6] other major titles ~

    People have plead for years for funcom to "fix" pvp and add events etc etc. You got Bori, and events and players do nothing but handhold in both places. What most people fail to realize is the pvp you want comes from players. You can't get the game back to world pvp as it was bc most of the population resides on the pve server. The players themselves drove "old pvp", fighting for guild glory, killing enemies, server asshats, hated guilds etc. Most of those players left long ago and what you have left are people who don't want any of that kind of fighting. You won't get sign up as groups vs pugs either bc most people left playing won't bother to que if they think they are going to be faced with an actual challenge. Hence, why tournament mode is and always has been dead and premades haven't happened in a very long time. Play the game for what it is or just walk away like too many already have.

    I really tried to like GW2. The art style turns me off. It's too "asiany" for me; running around with weapons the size of your character. Meh.

    GW2 is a distraction, nothing else. No collision, basic, casual MMO. I really tried to like it as well, but the classless, every character is it's own dps and heals in any spec made me despise the play style of the game. You can barely finish people off in a timely manner unless your whole group focuses them, opponents just heal up in seconds or run away in the same seconds. The massive PvP...just a zerg fest. Taking supply points mean hardly anything unless your entire side is doing it. Single groups make no difference, it's follow the zerg or pick off the enemy who you will never know who it is.

    Of course GW2 never really said it was "hardcore" ~ and you only point out what you consider bad-parts. Being able to run dungeons with 6-people, not be totally reliant on other players (for heals, tanking otherwise), and a dynamic world with high-speed combat and a great story-line ... Coupled with CONSTANT updates makes GW2 a great title.

    By no means was it suppose to replace other MMOs. The team never said it would. They simply stated it was the successor to their wildly popular GW title.

    Conan would be better with regard to PvP if it actually worked as intended. Just ref the hundreds of other titles in the PvP thread area.
    As for the large Asian-type weapons; I fail to see where it's evident. Bows, axes, swords, shields, great swords ... ALL to scale. Now, if you're playing a class that's intentionally small ; than of course weapons will seem odd.

    I play GW2 as a time killer too ... BUT it way more stable and I don't find myself waiting over 40-mins for a raid to form or get irritated by the current state of PvP. - Just sayin.

    Agree... In GW2 I no need wait to long for pvp or dungeons. Fast travel what I like there too. GW2 more pve game.. But AoC can't give me enough fun in pvp anymore.. Plus in GW2 you can lvl up throw pvp as well. If Conan could give that, probably I will lvl up like this haft other classes..
