Strange UI 2016

I have went through the process shown in the video, and once I click Run as Administrator on Aoc.exe, it says AocMod Activated, but then just closes, and im not sure what to do after that, because if i just click on the game and start it normally the UI isn't there, I just need help. Thanks

So, you installed the UI thanks to AocUI Installer, then ran aoc.exe as admin. Good.

Now you need to check that you don't have two games installed on your computer. For example, one in steamapps and one in programfiles. If it's the case, then you might just be launching a game that has no UI folder in it. You just have to launch the game via the right .exe
Did you select the right path for the game in aoc UI installer?

Love the UI but i have one simple question, can i move the cast bar? it shows up over my health and i just want to move it to the middle of the UI

I think i figured it out, i disabled the flash ones and then moved the normal ones so we will see, though i have 2 normal ones is that mine and the targets?

If you have a hard time moving your castbar:
- Cast a long spell (i.e. teleport)
- Hide your UI (alt+z by default)
- Move your castbars
- Alt+z again
- done. (cross your fingers for the game to save their position)

I have one for me and one for my target, i guess that's what i mean but here's a screenshot

Also how do i get the sweet FX to work id like to check it out. It initially didn't install the sweet fx folder but i extracted it to a standalone folder. Can i just copy that in now that the UI is installed?

About the castbars: this is normal to have two. That said, you can hide them when nothing is cast. Check the options ingame.

As for SweetFX:
Open strangeUI.zip, you will find a folder named SWEETFX.
Just extract its content to your game directory (example C:/Program files/Funcom/Age of Conan/)

I did install it into the games directory, but nothing happens, is it becasue i have that xml when i installed the UI?

The only thing you need to have is all those files in your game directory:

While in game, press Scroll lock two or three times. If you see a difference, then sweetFX is on.

Done that and still nada.

heres what i did so we have a list:
Installed the UI as is, before i saw your note about sweet FX needed the XML file deleted.
Copied the folder over (sweet FX) to the AoC main directory: http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2539/3...8928dbdb39.jpg
Still nothing works. Maybe i should uninstall the UI and then reinstall without the XML? Game runs fine though the fist time i logged in it took like 3 mins to actually get the char select which never happens.

Any ideas?

What you need to copy/paste is not the folder "SweetFX" but its content, which includes several files + one folder also named "sweetFX".
