for real. i almost want to start researching if it would even be possible. the swg emu worked. it might have taken 6+ years but its working now. gaunte or craig might know if it is possible. if i get drunk enough one night will send out some emails. think people would dump tons of money into that kickstarter.

make a kickstarter for a pre1.04 server and watch the money pour in. And name it deathwhisper after the greatest pvp server in mmo history.

Even as AoC is today it is still way better than anything else out there.

All other MMOs are just mouse button spam or macro spam with retarded fast swinging animations.

DCUO is almost as good as AoC at combat. And it has a very much better constructed threadmill for lootwhores to run in. Doesn't have hox however, so it loses out.

As for the actual title, nothing once EQNext is out. Finally the dumb****s that make up this sorry excuse of an industry is getting the message that WoW cannot be toppled by a ripoff of itself pumped up with idiotic amounts of virtual hot air. So they've stopped being stupid and wasting jillions of moneys on advertising their upcoming WoWclone. More wowwanabes will keep appearing because there's one born every minute, but we hopefully won't be seeing ******** hype for them.

implying aoc is only about pvp...
at least this looks much better than minis.

i've tryied to replace this game so many times that i think there are not any other game that could be as good as this.
the only titles i can think about being almost as good are

Mortal Online (Only for pvp, there are nothing alse but a complex crafting system)
SW:tor its nice but too cartoonish for me, also, i like medieval or ancient themes on games.
Neverwinter or DDO, i always liked D&D, DDO was better back in the day, now it sucks, Neverwinter was kind of boring, combat is like, hold lmb and wait.
Rift, i liked the idea, but meh, too much fantasy for me.... seriously, shark mounts?

at the end i always come back to play this. wish there were more to do, AoC needs a clean up, a relaunch, or something, its in very bad shape, but is a great game. great combat, great classes, great storyline, great pvp, great graphics, great lore.

new content is necesary, even if it is something to grind all day, people need something to do.
