Default Age of Conan - Parallel Universe

    Ahoy!

If Funcom had a million people...
If marketing didn't care about public opinion no more...
If, for one year, I'd be in charge of the Halloween event...

I'd do Age of Conan - Parallel Universe.

    The World
    - In this Hyboria, Aquilonia is in the aggressor, trying to subjugate Stygia and ransack its temples.
    - In Keshatta, a well meaning, but ill guided Toth Amon is researching spells to counter the superior Aquilonian armies.
    - Cimmeria is ruled by undead chieftains, and has enslaved Hyperboreans and giants.

    The Raids
    - Toth Amon gives a quest to kill Conan the Ring Thief. As a reward, you get a legendary ring which allows everybody to summon a demon pet, but which is stolen after a week by the resurrected Conan.
    - In Conarch, you're sent to kill Healykki, leader of a Hyperborean slave revolt. When she's at 5%, she begs for mercy, but has to be killed anyway to get any loot.
    - In Kithai, benevolent aliens hire you to stop a pointless civil war. The Scarlet Brotherhood is an order of healers, trying to stop the warlike Lost Legion. The Yellow Priests of Yun use lotus and other drugs to befriend animals, whereas the Children of Yag Kosha hide beneath their elbaborate maskes their horrible alien-human-hybrid faces.

    The Classes
All classes transform into a twisted counterpart.

    Soldiers
    - The Guardian becomes the Traitor, a mercyless fighter who can sacrifice other players' health to save his own.
    - The Conqueror becomes the Oppressor, who can summon slaves as temporary cannon fodder.
    - The Dark Templar becomes the Savage Saint, a defender of faith, who is defended by his Undying Soul.

    Rogues
    - The Barbarian is reborn as the Librarian, who uses his superior knowledge to outsmart his opponents and deals extra damage to undead.
    - The Assassin appears as the Peacekeeper, who uses non deadly poisons to incapicate his opponents.
    - The Ranger becomes the Sharpshooter. His function pretty much keeps the same, but he gets combos with 20 steps and a random chance to completely heal any opponent, including bosses (instead of a bug which randomly one shots any opponent).

    Priests
    - The Tempest of Set is replaced by the Storm of Crom with powerful melee abilities, able to charge his polearm with electric energy.
    - The Bear Shaman reveals his... weird side and calls himself the Beer Shaman... drunken master of the lost art of barroom brawling.
    - The Priest of Mitra switches allegiance and becomes the Priest of Nergal. He deals a lot of poison damage and can summon a huge bat now.

    Mages
    - Instead of the Demonologist, we have the Seraphist, who summons angels to heal his party.
    - The Herald of Xotli become the Herald of Mitra. He has a healing breath now.
    - The Necromancer doesn't really change, but he's now called the Necrophiliac. His zombies look peculiarly well preserved and cared for. Everybody standing to close to him gets the debuff "uneasy feeling", which lowers intelligence and dexterity by 30%.

Oh, a man can dream... a man can dream.
