Thread: About stats and scaling

    Default About stats and scaling

    Ok I know that at 80 the stats give 1[whatever] per 36,6 points of said rating. So 36,6 points of cr = +1 DPS, 36,6 crit rating = +1% crit chance etc. However, I believe that in either patch 1.05 or the unchained patch the ratings became dynamical(meaning they act differently at various levels. And That's from where my question comes:

    Does anybody have a list of scalings per different levels or will I have to do everything manually?

    Thanks for all the help!

    If you talk about the diminish return, then it only affects mitigations, so it's purely a tank concern.

    As for other stats such as crit and hit ratings, it seems that they are linear, although i'd have to check that to be sure.

    The only way to find out is to be in a guild that has a bot. Then you just type into guild chat !attribute strength or !attribute wisdom etc.

  4. #4

    Default

    If the bot allows that ofc.

    What I wanted to know was the following:

    At 80 36,6 CR = +1dps
    At 10 10 CR = +1dps
    At 30 ? CR = +1dps

    So I can judge items, feats and such properly.

    The bot module simply does the math for you, it doesn't change the math according to your level You can look at the source, it's pretty simple..

    Testing on testlive with a guard, no feats, no gear.
    Testing with the "Partisan's Tasset", blue quality item, level 19(required level 10) with 25cbr and weapon "Iron Cutlass", white quality item, level 5 with 6,9dps, no other stats.
    Testing with another item for for each test with level more in line with current character level just to compare if item level matters or not. Only testing items with CBR, if someone wants to do this with strength, feel free

    Each test is done with and without weapon, results with weapon omitted, since the weapon gave a static increase in dps in all tests.

    Results are the possible range of dps increase per combat rating.

    *note: probably a whole lot of errors here, some is the games fault due to rounding errors, but most may be my fault, feel free to proof-read and check..

    With level 80 neck(300cbr): 30,4(30,35-30,44) = 0,0270-0,0276

    *Edit, I'm blind.. Those level 45 wrists also had 10str on them.. That gives 0,8dps at level 80 /facepalm
    Entries with ** are just removal of those 0,8dps (hopefully the result makes sense at all levels, probably not)

    --Even tho there's a whole heap of errors done during the testing (never test anything half asleep), it seems to be a scaling of amount of dps granted by combat rating, going from ~1dps/36,6cbr at level 80 to ~4dps/36,6cbr at level 10. Higher level items seems to give a higher reward, also a higher quality item seems to boost that even further, where epics is the ones closest to the 36,6cbr=1dps formula everyone uses.

    Well cheers mate!

    Just one final question:

    The multiplier that is applied because of the speed of the combo/attack multiplies the whole dmg, just cr part or just weapon dmg part. In other words which one of these:

    a) T(CR+WDps)
    b) TCR+WDps
    c) CR+TWDps

    T=time interval of attack
    Cr=combat rating
    WDps=weapon DPS

    Also, does the cast time influence the dmg of spells in any way?

    Spell coefficient is usually 1 with spells that are 4 sec cast time. Dots, proccs and other funnies needs to be tested.
