I did try a few random genres, and the closest i could find was Nordic Folk music, just that, not rock or metal, just folk music.
And i was not disappointed

Edit: aside from what Knut Haugen wrote, is there another way to decide it's genre?

It is nordic folk music played with an orchestra, that is sort of rare.

Any time you find a orchestra playing nordic/sami/celtic folk music it will probable sound about the same, but where will you find that.

We have many exampels of folk music mixed with pop/rock/metal (some exampels given in previous posts) but there is a difference between getting 4-5 People to do something experimental and getting 30+ people to do something experimental.
