There really aren't any "addons" - just get some UI and SweetFX.

There's already a thread about SweetFX on the new forums. When the old forums will start working again, be sure to check out the US section for the UI compendium.

Similar problem with the guilds - the threads with raid progression or with a list of active guilds are also inaccessible right now

I'm using Corruption UI (big buttons!!!), but there are few things you have fix by hand... and again, that info is on old forums (check the net too see how it looks - I can hook you up with a zipped ready-to-go version)

Folks are using stuff like Stonerune, FDS etc. - IIRC at least Stonerune was updated regularly, so if you like small buttons give it a go
