I hate traps too, like when your wife says "Go out with the boys", but then sends her hot girl friends (the ones you don't know) to the same bar just to 'check your level of commitment' while you're trying to wingman. Yeah, traps suck. F'n women.

    PVE - Aggro Control

Great build for any fight where tanks have to do a lot of aggro swapping. I know a lot of rangers who QQ at the thought of feating in general for ranger, but I do 1600+ (single target!) DPS on the first phase of the Thoth encounter. Really doesn't hamper DPS all that much skipping out on Flame Barrage, the Focused Fired advantage you always have works pretty good. 1 point in Concussive blast simply to interrupt the adds at Thoth

    PVE - Max DPS

Only 2 points are required in Rapid Trapping to keep Master Trapper up, but 3 makes it a whole lot easier. I feat sulfurous burst because it makes playing a Ranger a little more entertaining & it does do about 500-1000 damage with each use, could spend that point anywhere else though. I put two points into Fancy Footwork simply because the Crit Damage increase is very nice when it procs. I notice with some group setups (6-mans) it will proc all the time & some others it will rarely if ever proc. Any idea as to what would be the most ideal group setup to maximize its procs?

Might do a little better if I feated linebreaker, but then I'd have to give up Marked Target or Marked for Death, which I don't want to do. Sulfurous Blast is much more useful in this build. Very nice against other Rangers in CE & I use it all the time in mini's to pop unsuspecting rogues out of hide from a safe distance.
AA's: Running Shot/Deadly Draw. Never TTS!

One PVE question... anybody know if the Improved Evasive Action feat makes Evasive Action dump more hate?

I'd suggest taking out of quick Shots and maxing Exhaustive Traps. It really helps your team burn down folks and can give you a chance vs some classes that normally you shouldn't be able to wear down.
My tribute to the self proclaimed "best AoC guild" ever, the Anvil of Crom.

Thanks for the 5 minute siege defense you provided. It was uber!

So for pve group/raid, why do people feat absolute precision over shattering or fire? Of course, I don't see it being better on straw tests.
