Allow me to preface this by saying I have never played a Ranger and do not have any idea how the search skill they have works, so this could be a stupid question....
Is it possible to use the same Ranger skill used to locate a particular boss in Enigmata of Yag in Onyx Chambers since they spawn randomly? This would be a huge help given how few groups run it and how hard it can be to get gear out of there given that the boss one needs may not spawn at all.
Yes, Ranger search works quite nicely in Onyx, although there is a limited range to it. Not likely to see a rare dark beast boss while down in the Black Ring human area and vice versa, but it will spot pretty much any named boss in the area you're working.
you can track and reset onyx like enigmata, only requisite is apart from regrouping, instance must be empty
