Player using a multi-bot program

As I've seen in WoW, a player is using a program that allows him to control one single character, while all the other characters following him like rats do the exact same attacks. It's clearly synchronized and not a player behaviour obviously, it's a bot controlling all of them.

I don't name&shame but if a GM wants the name... It just happenned on Crom by the way. Kinda sick to use cheats right in front of everyone.

This crap even legal? It has "exploit" and 3rd party software written all over it.

May be is allowed login more account from more computer from the same IP (like play AoC with GF/BF or brother), but the multibox is a 3rd-part software that allow to login more accounts on a single PC, without using the game client, but trought a software.
So on one computer this "unfair" player will be able to controll one character and the other "n" toons will duplicate his action.

This behaviour is punished by perma-ban in most mmo, due to abuse in pve and pvp, and the latency generated by the "heavy-spam" of data packet, at the same time, from one IP.

I hope he get perma-banned ofc.

I really can't see how some of you can say it's allowed, nor understand the reason behind it. If everyone was using this, this game's state in terms of cheats and 3rd party programs would be far worse than APB:Reloaded.

It is legal according to the funcom gms. It's third party software but it doesn't alter the game or do the work for you

You can run several AoC clients from the same computer. Just copy the game directory as often as you want and start the various exes. A current rig can manage two AoC clients without much difficulty. No mysterious third party software needed.

Funcom doesn't appear to have any problems with keyboard macros or software emulating that. One can do wondrous things with that.

I see 8 heads, so 8 accounts.
Assuming to have a powerfull computer to manage 8 accounts at the same time, setting the graph at 0 for 7 toons (all tabbed down) and minimum decent graph for the main one, all the keyboard command will be sent only on the windows on the top.

But, with a software like the one showed on the link in a post above (that is just an example, there are many and better btw), is possible to send one command n time (n= char number) at the same time.

Seen similar things in many MMO, read pages and pages of forum treads and flames, and usually this behaviour finish with a ban.

Btw many ppl here will not trust that "is legal" until a real GM will write it.
