any PVE rune shouldnt be usable in pvp or pvp events thats just stupid pve > pvp again while they fixed gear they are now creating another fail like before

-100 pvp magic dmg and -500 cr is not much when you look at the gains from 12 second btd:
scales insanely well with the spreading flames mechanic, applying 12 seconds spreading flames as well.
longer lasting btd+spreading flames = longer chance of it spreading, making possibility of crazy chain reaction
spreading flames can crit too
in a close quartered teamfight, you'll have 12 seconds critting btd on entire team
then stack with cooldowns like demon maw + demonform + exultation,
and you coulid play around with prince of terror too, though most would prefer RSoX
hoxes go around 2k magic dmg when fully buffed, -100 magic damage, ehehehe, like a hox will care.
people defending it say "btd is hard to land"
hox has near full kb immunity/fear immunity, and besides if you see you're about to land an important btd you'll use anti-cc to be sure, unless you're in fully aware of what's to come, so please

First of all spreading flames are always 6 second, doesn't matter rune, or not,
normal BtD dot(not spreading flames) can ONLY crit if u have Prince of Terror perk BUFF ON
ONLY Spreading flames can crit occasionally even without Prince of Terror perk
As for the rune, i personally didn't noticed so much difference in gameplay vs no rune, yes it's better but not game breaking, 6 additional seconds not gonna make you a GOD if u are average player.
And yes BtD is kind of hard to land as it has a long animation combo with weird hitbox, at least BtD 4(2 step one)

12 sec btd can still potentially give spreading flames from a guy to another twice, unless there's some hidden immunity
blame combo to have bad hitbox, mhhh, ok, dont know cause I didnt try lower rank btd for a long time. still the post is relevant, 12 second btd isn't gamebreaking, but the 100 magic dmg penalty is a joke
