- Remove daily rewards and the raid finder;
- remove membership bonuses;
- disable PVE XP for daily challenges;
- remove WBs forever on Crom;
- slow down the AA gain;
- lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
- remove AoE looting;
- add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
- fix the 250+ms ping;
- take the key away from Saddur;
- revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;
- remove energy and add skills (like taunt) back.
Nothing wrong with having casual content like RF. The only issue is that some calibration of the relationship between effort and reward is needed. In particular, the rewards for content which does not require social interaction (rings from Vidgis / pet arena, but also WB and in particular RF) make dungeons rather unattractive. Which isn't just sad - it also may decrease player retention, since social interaction is a major factor keeping players hooked to the game.
Of course FC will not remove Shards and T4 tokens from RF, since faster token gain is one of the few selling points of the new subscription model. But it would be nice if they improved rewards for dungeons (in particular the harder ones) to encourage people to do something other than solo content.

Balancing and motivation would be so much better and easier to do, if we had had a crafting revamp that included deconstructing items, editing items or just new recipe drops even.
Then you could leave lottery content specific tokenbased with pets, social stuff and content related resources without the need to lure players with power items. Any old content could then work as the casual side content. But funcom never does a global systematic approach, it is all trickter hype nowadays, no real balance or proper design.
If they wait too long, it will not be fixable anymore, because then the RF lobby will cry and oppose changes. You need to fix new stuff fast. Here it is rather easy:
- keep atlantean shards as "always in" reward, but add it (or rotate it) through all existing content! Or add raidfinder specific currency that can be converted into other stuff.
- remove t4+ tokens, but make t3 tokens upgradeable to t4 through conversion (same goes to lower tiers and vice versa). Of course not with 1:1 conversion rate
- add unique raidfinder stuff that fits into the existing content balance (like reskinned lower power versions of the normal raid tier gear) or tradeable social versions of those
- add a cooldown!
. offer tradeable loot, not just "bind on pickup"

[Global] [name]: FORGET Khitai groups - Join RF ; better time v reward. JOIN RF [cntrl + R] - go go go
great job fcom)
Remind me the last time FC fixed something bad in a timely manner?
Also, raiding is stupid. The idea of raiding isn't stupid in and of itself, but trying to combine large number of players with punishing difficulty is the sort of goddamn stupid that gets blindly accepted as tradition by nerds. You can find that sort of goddamn stupid in every nerdy pastime. AoC raiding in specific has been wholly stupid ever since T3 opened, because some Edit by Anzu: No. at FC thought adding weakest link targeting wiper mechanics to 24 player messes was a good idea and then the same (or maybe some other) Edit by Anzu: No. kept doing that. AoC raiding has been a pile of Edit by Anzu: No. for years. Just count the number of guilds that collapsed because of Edit by Anzu: No. Hathor Ka. Those collapsing guilds fed their dedicated players to hardcore raiding guilds (while a lot more players just left), so raider guilds thought things were peachy and kept saying raiding is good on forums. Raiding Edit by Anzu: No. AoC Edit by Anzu: No.. The only comparable damage was done by Shrines of Bori.
T2 is basically the ceiling of difficulty of what you can make for an idiotically high group number like 24 (who Edit by Anzu: No. even thought that was a logical number?). Which is basically what this RF is doing after all these years. Except they screwed something up once again with the rewards and virtually killed off interest in dungeons. Which were the best content AoC ever had. Their Edit by Anzu: No. backwards policy should've been amended very long ago to making raiding into an easy socializing occasion with passable loot and keeping all the difficulty and intricate mechanics and the "good stuff" for dedicated players in dungeons. This RF might be the first step for that (though I doubt FC could stop being terrible long enough to think that up) but it's already been tainted by incompetent execution.
Edit by Anzu: No. raiding.

hey cins, you mad Anzu earn his monthly salary... now take your pills and go back to bed...
"in the depths of a mind insane fantasy and reality are the same"
Yawgmoth (Ranger) - Nyxathid (Necro) - Yixlid (HoX) - Kaltas (DT) - Heung (BS) - Teysa (HoX) - Gatzu (Guard) - Krovax (Ranger) - Hurkyl (Barb) - Vedalken (PoM)
RF is good content, but there should be a 1 or 2 day CD before you can go again with the same character
meh...
This.
Its pretty incredible how the best ring ingame in very many aspects, is given without any form of challange what so ever. Just let the veterans (read cashcows) babysit (read carry) the new players for unreasonable amount of time in content unable to be enjoyed , and its yours.
Let us play the game the way we want to, just add the shards to raids and dungeons-sweeps.
