Well, this has me interested in revisiting the game.

The 2nd-last tier of saga completion is to complete a raid via the raid finder.

The final tier defeat of Ethram-Fal must be accomplished "outside of the raid finder", which implies an organised raid group (if it's not some kind of world boss or personal story event).

It might not be a bad idea to plan forward towards completion of the saga, as far as the cooperative parts go.
