Holiday Events?

I understand the game is in maint mode. however, i'm still seeing dev comments about patches and the new Saga server. any word on if holiday events are going to happen on the current servers?

As Christmas is not an hyborian holiday there usually will be no event.

This is the write up from 2011, but for some reason it was turned on last spring and I have the final group quest part still in my quest log. Be nice if they do turn it on so I can finish it.

You are right, there was this winter event. If I remember correctly you can not solve this quest anymore, because the "drunken" mechanic was changed with the achievement system.
