i rather see this as a raid with t1 difficulty but with the same mechanics as the real one than a nerfed version, people come to raids thinking they can solo puzzles in thoth amon, or ignore the phylacteries, or kill demo first then guard and pom last leaving only a few tanks to do the job...

well u can and most guilds still do ignore the phylacteries.. but yes id be scared thinking that first timers going to RF think they understand the fight then do the real thing and cant fig out why they die.

I highly doubt it. They aren't going to change the Raid Finder Reset day.

And looking towards the next few weeks of new nerfed raids on raid finder....Could these please please be tested on test live with an organised raid time such as the FoA player arranged for the raid finder system before you drop it into live game ...
I recognise that the code is complex and things will be missed ...you have a place to test it so please utilise this.

Also 100% that the shards should be available in non-raid finders raids as well...you are seriously risking killing the normal raids as well as 6mans as people repetively do RF

The last couple of times RN have ventured in (T3 lower proper) as a guild raid, we've done exactly that. Where do you think the idea started for the RF version.
For once Funcom have the instances resetting just prior to Aussie (and those Kiwi's) prime time.

The first few were kinda messy, but once people actually saw what a few of us were trying to do, it caught on quickly.

Take your full RA force in, it just needs a couple of good tanks and a good healer that knows what they are doing. But yeah, the RF versions are useless for teaching people how the mechanics of the real version works as we just ignore it. same happens with T1 (and T2 to an extent) given the gear many of us walk in with.

I don't even care about the T4 tokens from raidfinder (not like MC/Entity is much harder than getting some of those raid finders groups through), I just want to be able to get to the awesome rings by doing regular raids instead of being forced to use the raid finder.

MC / Entity surely is harder and it brings people together. But anyways, story is as follows:

MC / Entity gave you 6 T4 tokens if all bosses are dead (~20% of the pugs i was in never got Entity down btw). Once a week. And if you are afk you would be kicked.

With Raidfinder you can farm 100 T4 tokens a week. And Dragontears. While being afk.

That is the true horror of the raidfinder.

And not the ring. The ring is largely meaningless and irrelevant, compared to the gamechanger that are the dropping T4 tokens.

That said, if you would get these shards for doing normal raids, I would be happy with that.
