Not a gear issue, but over the years I've seen several level 80s doing close to no dps in groups or dying to open world mobs that they should one-shot, because to them, using combos meant using combo openers only with no follow ups/finishers.

I've heard of a few people who levelled to 80 on a melee class without doing a single combo or trying to click the on-screen combo hints, Q - 1 - 3 with their mouse.

Another cracker was at scorpion archer boss in Scorp cave unchained, if you're melee put an x-bow in weapon swap slot with no ammo and you don't then hit and kill players when you're charmed. Someone dragged all their combo's off their UI and wondered why they kept killing group mates.

the only reason for this masquerade i can imagine, is that melee pet can do more dmg. don`t think it works, but maybe that guy/girl think so

What is the issue? The pets do everything, you need to make sure your toon has lots of dex to evade.
