Is it possible to put a queue number in the raid finder window? Sat for about 45 minutes last night in a queue and had no idea if it was just me or I/we had 23. One thing I also noticed, if you join the queue as a group, if one person leaves your group, you all get kicked off the queue without being notified.

Super annoying but is a pvp related issue knowing Funcom they will take years or probably will never get fix since Funcom don't care about pvp and pvpers they will leave mini games die. Funcom you should not charge subscription to pvpers since you don't do new pvp content for years and you don't fix mini game quee and bugs, even the new powerful rings are pve only, everything you do new is always pve only, I been paying subscription since this game came out and all what I love to do is pvp, you had give nothing to pvpers that have been loyal to this game for years, this really piss me off.

We chose the latter, so starting Monday the Paragon challenge will reset and everyone will get a full cooldown to complete it.
I did a check and noticed any progress reset too. At least the green progress reset and I am afraid the blue and pruple does too. At first I thought it was just a limiter on how often you could finish it.

As far as I gathered the green challenge reward is worthless so I am ignoring that. To get the blue reward you need to do 3 challenges x 5 days. I am not sure if the blue box is good , but I do know that loging in 5 times a week is too hardcore for me these days. The purple box is 3 challenges x 5 days x 4 weeks. It is the same amount challenges/day but without the ability to take vacation that month.

So I got a few questions. First one is why does the blue and purple reward require the same amount of challenges/day? The second question is why is the challenge system set up so only those that manage a pretty high challenge/day ratio get a reward? Why is there no option to do the 60 challenges in 4 months?

In "the other game" (TSW) , the challenge system is set up so every challenge you do brings you closer to an end game item. That is a casual friendly approach. In AoC the challenge system is set up so only a high number challenges/day ratio over an extended period of time gives you a good reward. If you do not manage that you get nothing. That is a very hardcore approach to a reward system.

Does the login reward system reset every month too? Only the last item looks interesting and I am not going to log in 28 times each month.

A number of players have pointed this out in game. A counter with the Raid Finder would be very useful.

Your math is flawed, you can do 5 challenges a day, so you only need 3 days a week for blue and 12 days a month for epic, thats not very hardcore, not to mention its called, you know, challenges, so there should be some extra effort required to get the best reward.

Login rewards table resets once you claim all the items from it, they dont expire so if you log in once a week, it will reset in 28 weeks.

His numbers might not be right, but his logic (and mostly math) is. As he describes there is a fundamental difference in how it is treated in TSW and AoC. I think it is about control, in AoC all the newer changes are designed to take control away from the player. That is why i mentioned the neutral challenges like "kills" and "fatalities" and "quests", compared to rather specialized officially boosted content like "unchained" and "purist". This might have some laziness related technical issues (since unchained and purist have each a flag you can check easily to see, if instance is "finished" or not) or this might be intended design to control what players "should be" playing.

Technical the AoC system fits the "daily","weekly" and "monthly" description better...the TSW system sounds more like a playtime reward system.

To avoid what annoys him, they could expand the options for a daily grind (e.g. 10 instead of 5) or add weekly and monthly specific extra challenged (that are reset only once per week or month). That way you could catch up a bit on a day with more playtime, instead of now, where you are "forced" to log in. For example a working solution would be to offer 10 easy daily task each counting 1 point (like kills, quests, fatalities, crafted items, pvp kills, boss kills etc. ...something you can easily manage without much effort just by playing ANY content), then you offer 5 weekly tasks that require more effort and maybe more players (like won minis, normal group instances, epic mob kills, solo unchained, a larger number of the daily challenges etc.) giving 2 or more points and finally 1-3 monthly tasks rewarding again more points (like again increased numbers of the lower tasks or special achievements like purist runs, raids, pvp event participation or unchained groups or godslayer trials etc.). This would lead back to more player control and a whole more relaxed, less worklike approach to a GAME. If you need rl time, no conflict, you just push a tad harder with other or more difficult tasks some other time to achieve similar result. And if you think you need to grind max everytime and play 24/7 ... go for it, but please funcom, do not base content and rewards on these people.

The current AoC system also leads to less login time per character, the more chars you want to push. Why should you bother with lengthy gaming content (especially tough on crafting or normal groups now) on one char when the playtime does not count against the new reward system, when you still have 12 more chars you could get the daily reward done in the same time?

3 is what I can reasonable expect to manage in an evening on Fury. You can do more but it will cut into playing other aspects of the game.

Problem is that there is no extra effort for best reward. it is 2.14 challenges a day on average for a good reward. If you do more you get nothing extra , if you do less there is nothing for you. There is only one rate play that is supported for this mechanic. I do not met that criteria so I think I should mention that it got nothing for me.

    Default Raidfinder

It is very annoying when people join raidfinder raids and then go afk for a long time.
Give the raidlead the possibility to kick those afk Players or implement an automated afk check.

    Sad but true.
Funcom is removing everything that needs skill or a learning curve from game in the name of uber casual play style and easy profit.
PvP development was almost dead in the last years, now, with this new approach, there is really no chance for any hope..
PvP in this game, with its unique combat system, is so interesting and intriguing.. that's bad

Another idiotic thing with the raid finder is all of the bosses have negative magic mitigation like Arbanus, so only DTs can tank them.
