    They should decrease the stat value of T3 and T4, problem solved.
    With this simple move dungeo gear will be competitive again, while T4 would still have a good spot, but not the best spot.
    Also it would be more useless for pvp, which is a very welcome side effect.

    This would be an elegant solution, but nerfing gear that people have had for years would cause too much QQ. Don't forget there are probably thousands of players with T4 gear who have quit before T5, and would not like to come back and find that their hard-earned gear is now hardly better than dungeon gear.

    Not for or against the idea itself, but im sure there are group-content gear better than 2 tier old raids in other games too.

    Dungeons are already boring cause we did them all a million times already.Masters/Veteran of the trials surely are easier with t5 runes and some weapons and above but can't think of one that isn't possible without them.All that's needed is to tweak tactics and play a bit with group setups when you have competent players.And i never talked about that large difference however i agree with your point about certain pieces,for example losing base dps when equipping t6 assassin belt over the t5 one is kind of ridiculous... and so on...

    And that was what was said in Tl forums ,make every piece an upgrade if even minor...the t6 bonus doesn't really compensate/outperform other gear for loss of stats such as base dps etc

    I'm afraid that they will never come back, if the developers will continue in this vein and to make the same mistakes

    Who said that? I surely didn't. I said it should be toned down some, there is a fine line there, the gap is very large right now. It should be better than dungeon gear, but not THIS much better.

    Yeah, it's well past the point of "early next week" and has gotten to the end of said week. It's been pretty crazy here at the Durham office with our projects and we apologize for the delay in getting some more communications out regarding upcoming content in AoC. The good news is that we're looking to have the arena system on Testlive in the near future, although I'm not going to be able to give an exact date on that. :/
