Ahh the third of the standard arguments. Pity it's almost as fail as the others.
1. Gear is not an issue, vets beat noobs anyway: Not relevant; if true, why give vets a gear advantage?
2. Okay, gear is an issue, but it's really just nominal - AA is more relevant: Not true if you look at the figures (as I showed above). Also, one imbalance doesn't justify adding another on top of it
3. Well... okay. But in any case, there are ways of leveling efficiently: True, but there is an obvious imbalance in PvP XP and token gain between the most accessible content (minis) and the somewhat obscure festivals. Players who are not familiar with PvP in this game won't even know that the festivals exist. Casuals like I, who maybe log on for 30 minutes at a time, may have time for a mini - but it's much more of a hassle to use a short time slot like this to participate in the PvP festival.
This thread was about PvP XP gain. I brought up that I'd like to see a somewhat accelerated PvP XP gain from minis, and a 1/3 reduction in token costs for PvP T2 items. Why do people even feel prompted to argue against such a modest change, let alone with fail arguments?
Oh, and I do try to do a mini a day (on good days, maybe two) at least a few times a week. Never see you there though - probably due to time difference.
