It's so sad anyway.. so.. sad..
They are milking last money from the best videogame I have played in my life.. dropping down its quality to a so low level..
I'm sad for the playerbase and even for current developers.. I still think they are showing good effort and even results for the resources they have, but it's simply not enough for what this game deserved.
I guess there is no other option for Age of Conan though.. it will slowly die, and from some point of view maybe even better this than nothing, for players who still are in love and want to play it, until they cut off the server power..
If the company would just reinvest the money they get from AoC into AoC itself, it could still have some sense to spend money.. but like this..

There is not general guild kick rule of any sort for people that bought this content so I don't get your point. You can only suggest it to others and follow your personal principles whether you want to spend money on this content or not. I personally don't have it and I am quite confident I will not buy it as I don't find anything interesting there beside the bear mount that btw was suggested by me on TL a year ago but still I decided not to buy it.

About the video and the "mocking" part I hope people can get the irony as that video was never meant to be a serious thing but just a satire of this whole mess that happened with no serious intention to insult anyone personally be it a FC employee or a player.

If irony need explanation;
Line meaning: "these guys aren't happy, but they bought the pack so I don't care" (apologies to Khaletohep if it was taken as an insult).
Video meaning: this week was a farce, please don't let it happen again, and finish that promised content, nothing more to it really.

The video is actually funny, although for AoC players it's kinda sad that we are so aware of how terrible funcom is as a company.

The video also highlights what that anniversary content actually means, and it appears to be pretty accurate to me.

All in all, the 7th anniversary was a scam, it is known as such and will be remembered as such, which is a good thing.
Now next time funcom dares to pretend they're delivering content in the form of a scenario, everyone will make sure to wait for someone to test it before buying what most likely will be a festering pile of turd, then we all will be able to make an informed choice and dodge a bullet.
