Solo arena sounds great.

just one problem when is the minigames made for group pvp go back to being group pvp and allowing group sign ups.

Omg, it was so long time ago Remember that fest, it was much more fun than pict festival now Ppl cares about win by skill and have a respect of all server, not about tokens or aa or xp or anything else... Good old days, bloody clashes and carnage everywhere. And there was no cheats.

why dpn't you organize one pvp event yourself?
think about it, gather some people from the forums, those diehard pvpers, post your event in global and then attend to it
post pics and videos and keep doing them weekly.
it may be a bit slow at the begining but with time and perseverance (and advertisement) it may happen.

you don't really need funcom to organize events, gather your guild, invite other guilds and have fun

I have khesatta, always will, no matter if we get merged to crom I will go stand on khesatta rocks waiting miracle to happen. but no i dont need arena
since the first guy in aoc came to level 70 and went khesatta we been dueling there, why would we need arena now..

It is opening pandora box. Pvp wise aoc was balanced for 6 vs 6 games yet never perfectly. Duels or 2 vs 2 will be completely unbalanced favouring only certain setups/classes. Making solo or 2 vs 2 arena will be dissapointment, fix better 6 vs 6 pvp , introducing social aspect to pvp, ie add list of players online keen on playing premades, bring back old minigame queue on fury and to encourage ppl to challenge "unbeatable " team farming every pug in last 2 hours multiply rewards for beating this team according to amount of minis it won in a row. Imo more exciting pvp content.
