Low level Class restricted items

There are some helmets for level 30 in the Itemshop which have class restrictions in its discription. I would like to buy one of them again but it says its only for guard characters. I already bought this helmet for my guardian because I wanted it as vanity gear but if you look InGame on its discription you cant see the class ristriction.

So, if I buy that helmet for my Dark Templar, can I still use it than? Or will it get a orange background and set as not useable? I would really like to know if its useable for other classes because I don't really want to farm T3 a long time (and also don't want to loot the relics because some other players could need them for their "real" gear... I just want that black dragon helmet for vanity gear) and I need to spend my FC Points somewhere before they expire ^^
