Yes, the old version was not compatible with the new version. (Our mods even mentioned that)

So far I have "Dev tracker," "ZOMG CHANGE!" and "OMG I hate the Colorz!"

What else am I missing here that needs addressed?
I think you attitude needs to be adressed. You here running a business, not goofing off with your forum buddies.
If you don't have the skills to actually bring the new forum to the state of usability (for reasons worded much better than your reply would suggest) then at very least have enough professional integrity to respond in a polite and respectful manner.

    Feeback :

On the + side : I actually don't mind the color change. It doesn't make my retina bleed, and I actually cannot really remember if the old forum were THAT better. Yeah, beige was a bit darker and the border were shading a bit, making a better contrast with the background, and yeah, user panel was bigger and in a better place, but aside from that, I do'nt find it that different, so I don't really care.

On the - side : Devtracker is still rolling itself on the ground, frolicking in the grass, eating flower and stuff, while users cannot tracks dev/moderator post effectively. That's already know, still, it's an important issue, sicne it's a major usefull feature.

Fun fact : Not actually the same guy as the player named "Jaedelyia" in-game. Never though I would one day encounter a guy with the same nickname as this one.

I've read the entire thread and I also came to the conclusion that "Dev tracker," "ZOMG CHANGE!" and "OMG I hate the Colorz" is the general feedbacks in this thread.
When you and others are butthurt because he makes a joke about it shows that he actually hit a weak spot and more than one felt guilty regarding the point made.

However you are right. They are running a business and as a business they don't have to ask customers for feedback when doing a business decision like this.
They could just do as so many others and just change the forum and leave it with that. Imo the only mistake they did here was to ask the community. They should have known that most of the feedback would be exactly "ZOMG CHANGE!" and "OMG I hate the Colorz".

But hey, what do I know?
Feedback like: I hate the color so I quit the game is certainly very constructive, right?

Another feature missing is that clicking the big AoC logo at the top of the page should bring you back on the forum homapage, like in any self-respecting website. I'm too lazy to aim correctly on the small "forum" button

I personally don't have too many issues with the new look of the forums. It's new and thus different, true, but that will pass in time as I get more used to it.

The only real thing I'd like to point out is something that people have pointed out before: The colours. The different tones will tend to blend/phase with eachother, especially on a laptop.

Other than that: Eh, I'll adapt, overcome and conquer.

PS: I'd rather have mods/devs post on the boards as real people, with a lighter tone, emotes and jokes, rather than having a canned, überprofessional and cold "business"-type response. If people can't seem to take that the mods/devs use a more jovial tone, they should reevaluate their stance a bit. Strangely enough, those that can't seem to take the tone used are usually stateside people. Go figure.

We're still working on the devtracker. It isn't a simple fix, as the new version does things a bit differently. To put it simply, it is not easy to link to one kind of post anymore, so we have to write the right script, etc. etc. etc.

So, it's not being ignored, it is being worked on. I don't have an ETA for now.

Not bad, a more condensed look on the devtracker with less divider lines would probably be preferable, but good work so far! I'm still having issues with the colorscheme though, gives me a headache.

    Cheers!

Looks good. Well not really, with all that beige, but you know what I mean.

Also, are my eyes breaking down or have some beiges become slightly pinkier around here? I could swear the posts' background was blanderly beige before.

In spirit of being helpful: Change the color of Forums>Community Forums>English>blah line to a very much darker or lighter color, preferably darker since the New Posts line right above it is already doing light on dark writing. The eyes slide right off of them with their painful lack of contrast. Maybe make them bolded too. Or change that background beige, which would be more preferable actually. Those two particular shades are particularly terrible at contrasting, don't ever put them together.

One minor thing which I don't think anybody has mentioned yet: The old forums used to have a link directly to the main page for the game. Since that is where the GD letters and similar news get published I found it convenient to have that link.
