there are too many bad players who would get 0 skills with any other class (except necro maybe) , but with rangers they have a decent k/d . When playing my demo i actually focus rangers since most of them are strawmen that have no clue what to do when being attacked

I rather disagree.
Most classes have enough tools to steal some kills rather easily in groupe PvP. Barbs BS with reaver spec, HoX with CoA and HfB spam, guard with CW, Sins with DWW and GB, Necros ofc.
Ranger is no diffrent. The only diffrence is they can flee really efficently. However... i'm more annoyed by tanks who can never die with as much ease as rangers but fleeing much less.

Back when DT was crazy Op you would see so many very average DT get quite a few kills with DP for no deaths because they'd be taking 0 risk, sitting in defensive stance 24/7.
