Thread: What UI functionality would you like?

  1. #1

Question What UI functionality would you like?

    Hey all,

If there were no limit to what you could do UI wise, what functionality would you like added/changed in AoC?

    Default

    nameplates:

    blue for your team,
    red for opponents

    nameplates:

shortkey to show nameplates, release hotkey to hide them

    nameplates:

    class based colors on nameplates

Pretty basic stuff, but sorely needed

    Hey Slith,

Sounds like a nice idea. Could you perhaps create a photoshop picture of what you have in mind?

    hellos

i have tried out alot of different ui, i have stonerune atm.

One thing that always seems to be missing is the ability to have an option to hide the keybinds.

By this i mean so that the number/key is not hiding half the picture of the ability. atm its shift L to lock the keys in place, maybe a Shift K to hide the keybinds?

    would be really cool

yes i know it would not be idea for everyone to use this feature, but some of us have been using the same keybinds for 6 years pretty much and no longer need them to be shown

That one is easy enough, Geldour. Just go to F10, Controls and place your hotkey binds in the 2nd row. Then they won't show.

but then you wont be able to see when they are off cd mate

I mean to remove the numbers/keys from them ( like as if theyhad no keybind)

it would just make them look clearer, you would then be able to see the whole picture clear instead of with a number/letter on them. Some of my keybinds are numpad numbers so the whole pic is filled with num6 etc
