Make a contest for fan movies, e. g. with categories
- graphics presentation,
- pvp,
- pve,
- storytelling.

Only new movies should be eligible.

Funcom could give out rewards like Funcom points, Forum avatars or ingame rewards like gold or tokens.

Basically free advertising and free content.

Maybe a cooperation with youtube is possible - or with another video portal that still needs the publicity.

Don't be offended, please, but saying this is a bit superfluous talking to the AoC forum community. If Funcom is known for one thing here, it's not coming true on promises, being late on every timeline and refusing even to most simple suggestions. Although that is getting better in recent years, it's still not neccessary to remind us of the latter part.

I like the ideas here. We are working on things, but I can't say what until they become a reality and go beyond planning stages.

I'd like to see a new sub offer come out, since the Anniversary one was done in April, before the official anniversary stuff. What with the new pvp content, it makes sense to see a sub offer right now. If I had known that Funcom was putting out a sub offer in April I would not have waited for the anniversary one (which didn't get offered: sent an email and was told the April one was the anniversary one but that was after the thing closed. I really expected something for May). Right now I'm using my last game card in hopes they give us something in the way of a sub before August.

Tomium we need more connections between Funcom and players. Looks like Funcom don't listen to people or don't care about them. Having some sort of contests very good idea, because many MMOs have them and reward players for creative/support.

Where are one thing what Age of Conan have very big problems: Information. Adverts. Looks like 80% of players who play AoC in the past thinks what AoC already dead or soon to be dead. Every MMO have plenty of fan sites, item databases, boss guides and other things. AoC have some of them, but most 99% of them have outdated information. Many players still don't know difference between F2P player and subscribed player. Many players don't know about dungeons/raids. They reach 50-60 level and just leave game, because they don't see any good equip and don't know where to go.
