Thread: PvP on Crom

    Question PvP on Crom

Hello, i will soon start sub again. and i will keep sub now that i have money again heh. so i wanted to start with new alt characters to get all the benefits from subing (AA points each level, offline leves etc.)
and i was wondering how is the pvp in Crom? im now playing on fury. and there are minis for all brackets ( i play both on EU and US time, living in south america has its rewards :P)except lvl 59 and lvl 79. which doesn't bother me since i only play lvl 19, 39 and 80 minis.
but now low level minis are kind of a let down :/ idk if people play bad on purpose or idk what's going on. people going afk for the whole game (people who duels you know matter what, to show "them skilz" but when joining a mini, they go afk only to get free pvp exp.)
no team play what so ever, and im very sure people are running 2 AOC instances to join both teams on a mini, then leaving for his main character to be in the better team.
so now i had it with minis (it was the main reason i played on fury, minis every day). now i just want to level up fast to lvl 80 (without being gank and camped on FOTD each time i hit lvl 40), join a good guild with both pvp and pve players, getting some khitai armor with k6 and been part of world pvp and pvp event festival to get pvp armor (i know crom only has border kingdoms to do this) with voice communication, having fun, with no presure just enjoying the game, with a lot of people.

is Crom going to satisfy my needs previously stated? does Crom has this? open pvp with lots of people? populated, active guilds? Khitai 6man runs? veteran help (quests, dungeons, etc.)? because i can't do this on Fury anymore. 3 - 6 guildies online, guild chat and global chat almost dead.

Thanks for your responses and sorry for the long text

have no idea if low lvl minigames happen.

ce often has people farming and people ganking them, usualy after a while russians show up in a zerg.

about duels its semi popular to use khemi renown arena for it.
but some people prefer to do duels in border to kush.

that pretty much all the world pvp there is on crom.

also the festival was decently populated, and people would always group up in minizergs fighting each other was fun, although sometimes frustrating due to russian bigger numbers at times.

there seems to be some tricks to getting extra pvp xp on festival namely win a few events for pvp xp buff then use potion+food with pxp xp enhancer and only then consume as many quest reward skulls and other weird new pvp items, you can get massive pvp xp like that have guildy who made like 60% from pvp6 directly to pvp7.

so you have an idea here is a small video a guildie of mine did of us doing some open world pvp at festival with guild members+some randoms
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHH2Q6KyJJE
also this guy's video at american time during festival.

minigames are same crap as in fury, main thing is general atitude in minigames is a bit worse on crom less teamplay, and 2 criticaly hated pro afk'ers.

some guild organize inguild small premades vs friends, not often.

main thing is on crom you have full access to all pve content and most pvp content except the daily pvp quests, wich hopely in near future with revamped pvp instances for 6 festival locations will include access on crom to pvp daily quests.

best for you if moving to crom is have a look at guild hall and find a guild who you think has right profile for you to fit in, most guilds are recruiting and especialy on summer time they have more places in main raid forces due to slack time.

I agree. The majority of "pvpers" on crom, especially mini games, generally fall into a few sterotypes:

    1. Couldn't cut it on fury, went to crom
    2. first time doing pvp and has no idea what to
(Because they get stomped it will also be the last time)
3.bori to high pvp level, and still does not know how to pvp
    4. Keyboard turns and has no idea what cc is
    5. Die hard pver and uses pve spec even in pvp

I mean really, pvp is horrible on crom.

PvP on Crum is horrible because the average player on Crum is horrible and doesn't have a clue in the world on how to PvP, this is mostly due the to the fact that players on Crum are farmers and grinders and bring that mentality with them into minis. minis on Crum are all flag bots, totem blitzers and AFKers.

    It really is bad.

Crum is mostly quantity over quality.

Everyone is saying pvp on crom is terrible, but what is so different on Fury? 4 pvp 10's chasing people in blue gear and getting their d/k up and talking about how beast they are?

Both servers have pro's and cons.

Only difference I have seen is Crom minis pop when I'm on. Fury is dead when I hop on.
