    I would step up the gfx power to a 270x, 280 or a 280x if money permits. Otherwise the specs look nice. The sweetspot performance/price seems to be a 280 for about 200 euros in Norway.

    Here is a review of a 280;

    Why? It's more than enough. He could even get something of higher quality (90+) and with a bit less power (in the same price range) but his choice is fine, it's even overkill for the current setup but it can prove useful if he upgrades something later on.

    What are your final specifications, Slith?

    • slow down the AA gain;
    • lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
    • remove AoE looting;
    • add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
    • fix the 250+ms ping;
    • take the key away from Saddur;
    • revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;

    went for 16 ram, the rest stays the same. There were some nice suggestions here but almost all of them bloated my budget pretty bad.

    i would go for ati radeon always vs nvidia gefoce, cheaper better and what can you expect more ...

    i got worth at the time 100$ Ati Radeon 7770 1 gig ddr5 and game when it was fresh from the box (the components of PC) went full hd ultra total max at 30 fps in places like kesh while guilds zerged each other - also great quality at sieges - what to expect more?

    Reading about nvidia 600 series issues with AOC I got scared away from them. I currently have radeon and no issues whatsoever.

    Those issues have been fixed ages ago. Not the slightest crash or anything on my gtx670 for about 2 years now.

    Yes, they were completely solved with a driver released 1 or 2 years ago. I had insane crashes, but Nvidia released a working driver (and every next driver after it) after all.
