    About using just CE for this pvp festival on Crom, why don't use the 3 border kingdoms instead? Seriously the 2 other border kingdoms have never been use since 2008.

    Firstly, while we want to allow the PvP festival to go ahead in the same locations on Crom as it will on Fury/Rage there have been a lot of valid points that the community has brought up. Our long term intention is to hopefully make use of a PvP versions of these playfields (accessed in a similar to Epic mode) but this isn't as straight forward as it might seem, therefore for now we are going to only enable the PvP Festival in the Border Kingdoms (Cimmerian End) on Crom.

    On Fury and Rage the locations will be:

    * Khopsheff Province
    * Tarantia Commons
    * White Sands Isle (now pvp enabled on both these servers)
    * Kheshatta
    * Wild Lands of Zelata (replacing Gateway to Khitai due to this playfield being more suitable for open world pvp)
    * Conall's Valley (the winner of the forum poll)

    The final update is that of a 4th event type, where points are scored only while under the effects of specific enhancing buff, which will transfer on death (similar to 'juggernaught' matches you might have played in other games).

    We hope to be able to run some focused tests of these events on the Test Live server sometime in the not too distant future.
    thx for update and gateway drop.
    cant wait for this to start .

    down the line tho, a pvp system that rewards killing---and stats that go with it, is the way to go to grow a competitive pvp community.

    about competitive pvp communities: u need to practice and innovation to succeed, which encourages replayability. competitve pvp and casual pvp(quests/gear/AA trees/etc. to define progression)makes for a healthy pvp community in an mmo.

    Good news, and definitely the right way to handle it on crom.

    Cool. But the guys above are right...why not use all 3 open PvP zones.
    Emirri - Dark Templar
    Naerri - Herald of Xotli, Arrienne, Argene, Barbeena, Conqubinne, Shaniz, Shinzei, Laylani and Dorela

    The problem is that too many peoples is completing game already. Too many peoples have full T4, 10.PvP level and full AA. Nothing to do in game more...
    Kattas - 10.PvP, full T6 and full AA demo

Cry about it all you want, but those who enjoy PVP have always been on Crom & always will be.
    I could not stand to smile reading about actual test of fight skills in pvp from a player with demo, DT and ranger as toon in signature
