launching game says exe is missing when its not

OK so when I Launch the game i get 2 errors the 1st error is that windows cant find the game .exe yet I cant plainly see it in the game folder and 2nd error is that the LocalConfig.xml is missing also yet again I can see it in the game folder

I never had a problem like this with any other game i have played

I just finished my 5th reinstall since having these errors with no luck

How are you installing it? CDs? From account page or through steam?

It looks like you are missing some other files. Wheres the folders and clients? Don't see SimpleConfig.exe

yeah I tired installing it with steam and account page one too both have the same problem , I have steam on one drive and non steam game on another so yes to different drives

and no i haven't tried using the CD's would have to look for them anyways lol lost my collectors edition years ago

and i cant find SimpleConfig.exe it was in my original installation but haven't seen it since

I know where it is on mine. Mine works, his doesn't. I don't see what you are trying to point out.

Folder is missing files. Use the download link on the account page, and install to a brand new folder.

Its not missing anything i verified and repaired and re-downloaded the game 7 times by now with the same error each and every time

File systems jacked up, or you got virus or something.

Reload windows, fixes everything!

well i deleted all registrys with RegEdit that had any thing to do with AoC and after that and reinstalling the game it finally work
