*REMINDER!* World Boss Preview starts in less than 2 hours!

What's this?

Hi everyone,

We are aiming to conduct a preview of the upcoming World Boss system event on the Testlive server on Monday the 9th of December.
This event is intended to provide a sneak peak for at least 1 of the new bosses which will be featured as part of the system. It also gives us a final chance to catch any nasty bugs which might only be detectable when real players are present.

When, where?

Location: Testlive - PvP Server
Time: 2000 CET ( 1900 GMT, 1400 EST)
Meetup Point: Kheshatta (From there we can start summoning the bosses in the playfield and perhaps head elsewhere after (time dependent)).

How do I get to Testlive?

1. Copy the contents of your Age of Conan folder and paste it into a new folder
2. Open the folder you copied your AoC install to. Find the file LocalConfig.xml and open it in a text editor (notepad, etc)
3. Copy and paste the information from the relevant LocalConfig below and save the file:

You can copy your live characters to Testlive!

1. Log in with your FC account here https://register.ageofconan.com/account
2. Scroll down and find "Copy My Character to Test Server" at the bottom of the page
3. Copy your desired character to the PvP realm

Why should I bother?

This is your chance to see and test new content before it is released, and let the developers hear what you think. Design issues may crop up that the developers are not aware of, and we can help them fix that.

For those lucky enough to be in a appropriate timezone to play, go for it ! I think we often underestimate the importance of giving a feedback on testlive.

Would help if the "copy character to testlive server" actually worked.. I did this on the website 2 days ago, for this event, still don't have a char available on the pvp testlive :|

That is unfortunate. :\

I was able to copy my character yesterday just fine, but I've heard of others running into problems with the character copy.

You can make a new character and the NPCs in Tortage / Test Lobby can boost you up to t3.5 raid gear, its not absolutely ideal I know but it should make you competitive enough.
