Why did Funcom lighten up Fields of the dead ?

They have done it to all zones. There is no night. Encounters and beasties are the same for both times of day for the most part.

The game could be way more dynamic if they used time of day.

When the game originaly came out there was a huge difference in night and day for lighting.

Install SweetFX and set gamma to 1.0 and your good old nights are all back, or should I say all black?

contrast to 1.25
brightness to 0.75 and you'll have dynamic time of day. Night will be ominous and blinding, and the colors of day will be as striking as ever.
