Bring it back; we haven't seen a player spotlight since 2011 ~ there are some integral players out there that deserve to have the spotlight and talk about what they're doing in-game to help others, what their take is on the current state of game AND what they believe needs improving/tweaking .

Totally agree on this. Would be very nice to place the spotlight on players like Vehl, Shahir and Johara who does a lot for the community.

If this is re-introduced then, taking a look at Fury's pop, my vote clearly goes to Vehl, since his pvp-events in CE / WoZ have shown how lots of fun can be generated by just the dedication of a single person.
