Lost "can only have one" items

so how many hours are we to wait for a GM to fix this?

Looks like it will take several days. Many people in my guild have this issue, some on many toons. And in some cases, this has left people with unraidable toons, meaning basically a lost week for some.

From what people have posted, the GMs are not restoring all lost items. One guy said he only got back the flute from deathwish.

So how can I prove what I had? I've got 18 characters, mostly on Set: I certainly don't have screenshots of their inventories. And I haven't even dealt with any missing resources.

Funcom, I've stood behind you for years...this is really annoying though and I've heard a lot of people in game say its going to be the last straw. If a GM takes days to get to people and then won't or can't restore things...you are the only ones who know whether the game figures drop or not, who unsubscribes or not.

And the initial bug is apparently still there, thought I don't know if anyone tried to get another deaths ward or not (all I ever did was to /claim two chthonic nightmare rings which had two listings in my /claim from a funcom bug). So are you going to do this again???

My petition was answered while I was offline, I was only given the quest item High Priest's Ring of Protection back. The Death Ward and Trickster's Charm rings wheren't given as the GM wanted to know when I got them, and I have no idea when... just long ago.

I cannot reply to the GM as the petition window don't allow me to update my petition, it just stalls after I press Submit update. I cannot make a new petition without deleting the old one, can't update it. If I delete it, chance is that I'm offline again the next time a GM get around to answer it, after much more than 4 hours, and I won't be able to reply to that either.

Don't get me wrong, it is great that you told us what happened, but this is clearly something that shouldn't be fixed manually for each item and the statement that it has to be handled this way is just plain silly. You have backups, you know what items we had before that database script was run, why make it so difficult for us? Why am I not given back my 2 remaining epic rings without question, petitions I cannot answer?! Only you Funcom has the data that proves I had those rings before yesterday afternoon. It was your script that screwed things up for quite a few of us, you fix it!

Just do a rollback and make sure you fix the database script before trying it again!

PS! Sorry for the angry tone, but this time you really deserve it!

If needed, players may petition again. We are adjusting our tools to better address this particular situation. It's possible that new information can affect cases dealt with before today.

let me guess, pure theoretical coding, poor testing on internal server (if any at all), no testlive run...
i think you catch the drift.

again I say rushing things to avoid a few ppl having a handful of items they shouldnt and therefor bringing critical errors into game is not the way to go. you obviously have new ppl in the team who dont have the slightest idea what they are messing around with!
for the love of this game keep them on a short leash

Do we seriously need to start taking daily screenshots of ALL our inventory items!? There is no way I can remember what all my toons had on them. I probably did lose items and just haven't realized it yet.

This reminds me of the trader bug when tons of people were losing items on the trader. I never got my items or gold back from that one!

just checked again, 15 hours no answer.. missing coffer of nullity (122 bag) and 90% of contents, including equipped T4 offhand weapons etc.

I just have all my items on all my characters back,even the ones that i have purchase after the merge.
I want to thank the GM's for there time and effort to fix this mess.

I lost my tricksters charm ring for my bear, the above post reminded me...I just don't have a list of all I had.

Since I can't sit in the game for the entire time (work 45 plus hours a week and I do try and get seven hours of sleep), its nice to see they don't just offline close my petition.

Am going to TRY and make a list of what I lost. I know I'm missing things because I have blank spots on my third page (mostly social gear) and in my left hand side of bank (where I put old purples)...but I don't remember them all.

The original problem...can people still buy an extra deaths ward? or Tricksters charm? I can /claim multiple chthonic rings so that bug wasn't fixed...is funcom going to do this again to 'refix' the same issue?

Or can you just remove the darn 'can only have one' tag? If its a quest item like a bane, you can't get two anyway. If its a death wards ring, is it game breaking to get two? Or two t4 talismans (there are three or four which are 'can only have one' items, like priest...skeletal concubines...)? Or fireworks? Or yag stones? Or milestones?

Maybe milestones...but I never seem to win them in sixmans anyway and just farm quillins in down time.
