Speaking about combo rotation in a class which dps relies mostly on stuff you as a player dont have active control (crit rating,2-3 specific VoM buffs,proccs from arms,pact) is fail.(except 2-3 specific builds situation oki i give you that)

You tank?oki have your two tap buffs on and spam 1-2 combos , voila VoM and crit rating takes care everything for you.You wanna go one step further? ok respect unshielded and show some love to your combo opener aswell(tricky this one)

You dps? oki have your 8 year old son pressing 5-6 buttons max.

It is sad how this interesting and difficult class before Khitai have been destroyed by FunCom.

the old templar was nice. it was much more complex...you had to recast soul barrier every 20 secs, pom took life and no mana, etc.

now everyone rolls a templar and all the class is about is crit, crit, crit -.-

The templar was useful before vom came up. I was not using the ds and could tank every boss even before t3 was released and the lower tiers got nerfed...

I've tried the specc of Boech, over and over on a signgle strawman. And I can make more than 1150dps. Without pots, defensive Stance and with a little worse gear.

I can reach same dps with a shield and a dread shadow specc so I suppose I'm doing something wrong.
