Lowering Your Ping !

Honestly I've tried with it on and off and saw no difference in any situation, makes me wonder if the setting works at all (since it's not in Windows registry by default and you have to manually add it, it smells like the kind of placebo tweak you find all over the internet). From what I read on Wikipedia, applications can choose to use it or not on their own regardless of windows settings anyway.

while i go through 11 240 ms 240 ms 239 ms vlan70.csw2.Frankfurt1.Level3.net [4.69.154.126] ---> i have 250ms around.

and my friend goes through 11 123 ms 122 ms 123 ms vlan90.csw4.Frankfurt1.Level3.net


So if you talk with your ISP and if they can manage to route your line through vlan90 you can decrease your ping greatly..

I dont think that this is the problem. I tried today many times and there is no difference between vlan.70 and vlan.90.

My results:

7 151 ms 151 ms 151 ms vlan90.csw4.Frankfurt1.Level3.net [4.69.154.254]

and:

7 151 ms 152 ms 152 ms vlan70.csw2.Frankfurt1.Level3.net [4.69.154.126]

I am getting this same issue. Most of the day Ill have around 40-100ms. Around raid time it shoots up to minimum 800-4800. Vent is mostly unaffected. As well as most anything else. Aoc is my only issue. So would you guys suggest contacting isp?

You'll need to give them that info.
