Sepermeru. The memory made Blacktyde chuckle out loud causing his horse to stamp its hooves nervously. So many souls; so much power. Pity that Satet-Ka could never appreciate what had happened. Blacktyde led his horse forward towards the gates of this 'New' Sepermeru.
He couldn't really blame the priest. He had not been around at the height of Acheron's power. He had not seen the masses of loyal Setites sacrificed in order to bring forth temples from nothingness. So let Satet-Ka damn him for a crime he cannot understand. Set will judge them both. Set will judge all.
"And sooner than they expect."
Blacktyde looked up at the gate towering above him; guards waving to those within that one of the guests had arrived.

As their horses approached the walls the prophet could not help but envision the rise of the new empire. Now the third incarnation of Set's mandate this would take a more sinister form. The horrific forces the two Nobles intended to unleash had never been a part of the vision revealed to him. This new army would not be filled with the faithful but rather hungry killers stripping flesh and soil alike from the earth as the sandstorm.

I'm glad you had fun bear. it was great to see all the roleplayers coming together to have fun. special thanks to the reindeer clan, cult of ibis, acolytes and savage fang for showing.
it was cool having our enemies compete in the ring!
as you bear abdicated the title of white serpent and the rights that come with it that honor and title of gladiator champion fell to Warlord Emerius of the empire of stygia. congratz to him!
I will be hosting more of these and want to mix in some stygian style entertainment next time.
abiah wrote a play once I think ill produce in her memory.

As an OOC warning this event will most likely be involved in an RP plot of sorts and will not be focused on IC based pvp combat as advirtised. Only come if you are able to "go with the flow" IC.
Again not your standard gladiator games as in the past....part of an RP storyline.

For those interested in the recent RP events surrounding the death of Satet-ka a brief RP catch up is required. Many dont know or understand the relationship between he and the priestess Mandisa. In preparation to post a pretty unforseen yet very interesting set of IC experiences that happened this week in the game I am providing a few links for those that werent on Hyperborea to follow. This information is fairly well known in Stygia should one have access to a small amount of intelligence gathering ability.

(we dont agree on how this actually went down but an interesting account of the relationship partly due to mandisa leaving. both of them became a bit more wacky after this)
When Mandisa returned to the game last week and Satet-ka and Neverlin were called to great here IC one can imagine where this heart torn lover maniac high priest went with that. As you will read above Mandisa desires to be free...free from Satet-kas domineering ways. So as the continual fool he is he of course captures her and locks her in a cage in the highest parappets of the city.
The cage was enchanted with incantations capable of isolating the prisoner from prayer and bless with unholy water from the onyx chambers in a few small rp events. Gaurds locked Satet-ka and Mandisa in the tower and nailed the entry shut. In his craze she was never searched.
With that background the rest of the story will be IC forum pasted.
