40 AA points to level 80 characters on Membership accounts on the 19th of July!

As part of Age of Conan’s 5th anniversary we permanently improved Membership with a special XP boost item, more than tripling the amount of Bonus Points each month and letting characters on Membership accounts earn one Alternate Advancement point per level which can be used at level 80 for a powerful boost! Of course Membership still retains its regular benefits, such as access to all areas and a discount in the in-game store.

Characters that were already level 80 on Membership accounts got 40 AA points on the 30th of May and will now receive an additional 40 AA points on the 19th of July. Every level 80 character on a Membership account gets these 40 extra AA points on the 19th of July, no matter what level they were on the 30th of May and no matter how many AA points they have received before.

Quick question, you said only lvl 80 characters would get the bonus AA points, but last time on May 30 all characters on my acc got the 40 AA points, is it really only the lvl 80 that will receive the bonus points or all characters on a paid accound will get the bonus AA like last time?

I was under the impression that this was going to be on all characters on an active subscription. So, anyone that hasn't gotten to 80 within the 50 days is screwed out of getting any addition AA's? I thought the reason for these AA's was to try and find a balance for new players and people with old 80's. This sort of defeats the purpose if it's just for the level 80's on peoples account.

The few of us that's left just wants some good open world pvp and some mini games with players that aren't so far below average.

My understanding was they decided to give 80 aa pts to level 80 players, but to be fairer, they decided to give 40pts to all characters, then wait and give people enough time to level toons to 80, before giving the next 40pts to level 80 only toons. That's why 80 now and all levels earlier.

That makes sense, but it would still be nice to hear it from funcom officially just so ppl know, since last time it was said only 80s but wasn't just only the lvl 80 toons.

Why should they confirm? People might accidently resub or buy a sub for the AA...and if what they say and what they do will differ, there will be only trouble. Without confirming they can refer to what they said and there might still be people thinking they'd get 40 AA like last time (or hope for it), but then there would be no risk of justified trouble.

Actually if you look at the old thread, they said back then it would be only 80s too.
