It was all about fun factor for me. Though I liked HoX better before 1.05 or whenever the big revamp was. If I wanted to play a caster, possession spec, I'd have picked a demo/necro.

Never played many of the classes to 80 so had no opinion on those.

I was never that into the ToS until I got some people I know to try the game and they, at 80, ended up needing a healer 90% of the time when all of us were online. Offlined the ToS from 56 to 80, bought some green gear from the auction house and went straight to Khitai. That was... a rough month or two. But now that I've acquired a decent amount of AA's and some purple gear the ToS is one of the more powerful characters I have and much more enjoyable.
