Is there still a Mentoring system?

If so, how do you use it (i.e. where are the options)?

Not sure what you mean by that, but there is an apprentice option.

When you are in team with another player, the one with the higher level can "app" the lower level one so he gets his mentor's level minus 1.

It works only if the difference is 20 levels or less.

Let's say you're level 80 and your team mate is level 63. If you app him, he'll be level 79 as long as he stays in your group.

When app'ed, someone will have more hp and all his stats scaled up to the new temporary level, but will not get the feat points corresponding.

To select that option, select the character, and you'll see just next to the "trade" option, the "apprentice" one.
