I think using the curse UI installer is the best way, you can download it here... http://www.curse.com/addons/aoc/corruption-ui-installer

Who said anything about curse client? And why would you install such old version of Stonerune?

when you download a custom UI you can install it using two ways:
1- MANUAL INSTALL --- extract the files you downloaded and copy/paste the ones inside the CUSTOMIZED folder to the folder ../data/gui/customized that is located inside the game folder (that folder only you know where it is)
2- AUTO INSTALL --- Use the program AOC UI Installer to install it and update the files each time the game itself is updated (sometimes is not necessary)
