HOX hasnt changed at all?? you got to be kidding me ruhen, enough with the draza trolling ill talk normal.

Bro, the addition of interrupt on HFB is one of the most OP/major change/addition to the hox class. It is absolutely 100% deadly in the hands of an expierenced player. This also reduced the level of skill for the class by alot also ( anyone can run around hfb hfb interrupt an ENTIRE group's combo/spell/cc) This was so out of hand they had to add 15s immunity which STILL is ridiculous. Its absolutely faceroll on hox.
The next major one is the removal of the "root" effect on combos, speciically benefits hox's Pillars which before its almost never used unless in ideal situation. Ever since the change you have pure horrid hoxes running around in full BB gear or high teir pvp gear doing 2-4k or even higher Pillars which is pure 360aoe combo. Hardly anyone use hell strikes anymore. how many hoxs even know hot to kite now adays? how many relies purely on intterupt/gear/pillars/coa to do anything in pvp?

I was absolutely 100% new to hox class right when they made the changes. I relied purely on hfb/interrupt and my own experience of movement + other classes to counter and i was face rolling on hox
and im not even good on the class.

Yes these players are all below average nothing special about them.
However the players in these screens are still 100x better than the ones currently playing.

The ADDITION of the HfB interrupt? LOL, it's been in the game since like...launch?

It use to be 100X more OP than it is now, because it didn't give a debuff. It had an internal cooldown of 20 seconds, but two HoX could keep you perma-interrupted.

And the root effect on combo's? It was never an issue as long as you knew how to jump combo Pillar's. Which has been in the game since...launch.

Now, I'm not saying HoX isn't OP, because it is on a GOOD team. But on a below average team with crap healers, HoX is by far the most squishy class in the game(which is the reason no one plays it).

Think Jich is referring to the interrupt affecting combos and not just spells. They nerfed our CCs though, the root not being instant means you've got a 50/50 shot of actually hitting anybody with it with its limited range. Slower Fear and Stun are lame too, but we adapt. Or don't.

Ruhen is absolutely right about HoX being dependent on having a good team, maybe more so than any other class. If you're on a team with not enough melee, you won't survive when the enemy pushes (unless you're one of those K/D whores who just avoids combat in those situations, just play the mini or quit it IMO). Likewise if one side has a healer and the other doesn't. HoX has to have support, because it doesn't really have the tools to hit and run like Sins and Barbs.

Bro the ablity to interrupt ones combo or any attack even white hit was not there before on the hox.
You can jump pillars of course, but how many people can actually do it correctly and smoothly while in mass pvp or situation which requires more than just " let me do jump combo" in situation where one has to be aware of surroundings/ what cc to use/ what cc to break/ what opponent might use next/ etc etc

Point im trying to make is that the with these changes it has dumbbed down the level of skill required. Just like when morphs was talking about combo canceling, it may be easy and anyone can do, however how many can do it smoothly in ANY situation? It also serves simply as a level of skill because some people "can't" do it that alone creates some sort of skill itself.
Again point is the learning curve went down hill with everyclass notj ust hox, but hfb/pillars and gear/aa are the significant ones for hox class.
Im just saying the class is faceroll if you are an experienced player with decent pvp 8 + gear/aa or full khitai/T4 etc
No it dosnt always have to be a good team.
Also to flatscan, KD/whore is just an excuse used by players who simply lack the skill/idea of where they need to be positioned in mass pvp, who their target should be, and the understanding of why not dying can actually help your teamout.
Of course people like onepapa is another story. This also excludes people who simply runs away at 50%+ hp to the end of the mini map just to avoid death WHILE at the same time they bring nothing to the table ( in terms of kills/support etc) if thats the case, they should be called KD whores.

but what im seeing is that players use " kd whores" as simply a way to justify their narrow mind set. such as focusing purely on flag bot/tanks thus dying uselessly to opponent dps/mage classes excessive amount of times.
Or the players that charge into a group of emeny by themselves 1 by 1 by 1 and dying thus turning a group into individuals.
It also comes from players who simply just suck at the game, so their only excuse for them to have thousands of deaths is because well ... they arent "KD whores"

However there are always exceptions to everything, nothing is White and Black, but majority of time this is the case.

K/D whore is a guy who just goes into hide and sits out the clock in a PuG mini because they got a team that can't compete (whether because of player skill or class balance) with the opposing team. Seen so many guys that like to be on, "best player," lists doing this and it's ridiculous. You're playing a video game with a Pick-up Group, play the game or leave. If you're not going to play, you're doing your team (even if it is a team of bads) absolutely no good. If you're doing your team no good, then you're not one of the best in your class, regardless of how great your K/D ratio is.

I don't know why anybody puts value in what other people think about how they play a video game. It won't make you money and won't get you laid. I play for my own enjoyment. When I'm playing on a PuG team, I do my best to help my team win. I use my CCs to help my team win an engagement. I point out that tanks shouldn't be the first target when I see wrong targets being focused. If the team doesn't listen, and the match is a foregone conclusion, I just drop the match and play something else until the shame has worn off and I can play another.

And yes, how a HoX does in a PuG mini is dependent on the team they're on. I've 1v1ed all the best HoXes on the US servers, even you back on Tyranny when I was still on that server, and I've won and lost, depending on cooldowns and what pots and food I'm using. I've been in mini-games where I've gone 30/1 and I've been in mini-games where I've gone dead even amount of kills and deaths. I've been in mini-games where I've gone negative, and it's always been based on how much support I get with my team. But I'll go to the wall for a team that is trying, and not just blindly running in and dying. If there's a chance the team can win, it's worth giving your all with that team.

The best post yet on the forums. I will say too many take this to an extreme.

No contest really from a barbarian standpoint:

1: Rangers. Most are dumb creatures, who knows two features. TTS and running. But some are good though, and at least deserves their kills. Sadly just a handful though.

2: Necros. Much the same thing. Dot that lingers, SW at res pad, dead if theres no team heals. Just an stupid way to play, and have nothing good to say about that. Bombs are at least avoidable, but still a dumb feature.

3: Sins. Stupid insane burst dmg, with tons of survivability. And best hideattack, speed ingame. Barbs fall short on everything compared, except perhaps cc`s.

    4: Rest dont bug me.

Anything with lots of insta casts, so really HOX and Demo are right up there. 300 latency (or worse) makes the really good kiters super jittery and a massive pain to hit with melee.
