    Smile No Audio Problem*

    Hi! Just got the game, and it' looks awesome(Still only lvl 2, hehe)

    But the thing is, i've got no sound in game... Wierd as hell.
    I've been mixing different settings, floating-whatever and the other, to no avail. Could someone maybe know about this?

    -It works fine in my other games-

    *Oz - Win7 x64
    *CPU - i7-3820
    *Mobo - Asus P9X79 Deluxe (Sandyb - Ex)
    *RAM - 16GB G.Skill 2133mhz
    *HDD/SSD - (Oz):Vertex4@128GB+(Game):2xVertex4RAID-0@500GB+(Misc)3TB
    *PSU - 1250w
    *GPU - Nvidia GTX 580
    *Audio - Realtek HD: ALC898 v6.0.1.6499

    Do you need any more info, let me know! Thx.

    Make sure everything isn't muted, and sound is checked in game.

    Try something like a youtube video, if it works there and every other game/program, try taking a screenshot of your audio settings in game, use F11 to take screenshots, and post it here.

    Definitely weird.

    Have you used these commands by any chance:

    /setoption SplashScreenFadeInTime 0
    /setoption SplashScreenFadeOutTime 0

    ???

    Not that you should, but you might have. It messes sounds on my computer that is why I am asking.

    Question

    Hi guys!
    I'll take a screenshot and post it.

    No, i'm massive naab atm, so i know no cmd's, and haven't messed with anything.

    -edit-
    Issue solved?
    Seems no sound alternatives except "stereo" is available/functioning.
    Don't get any sound except for when i use "stereo".
    Is this something that everyone are experiencing, or am i just doing a workaround :P?

    Try the options under Troubleshooting tab there.

    I have all music turned off, but otherwise, I have speaker setup as 5.1

    I had an issue similar to this a few weeks back. Either I couldn't hear anything from the game or it was so low I had to turn my headphone volume up full but that caused issues with voice com!

    My 'solution' was right clicking the small sound icon in my system tray, clicking 'open volume mixer', and noticing AOC was turned right down.

    You have to have the game running to see AOC in there.

    Glad you got it fixed. Never noticed AOC was even in there. Lol

    Do you have sound in the introduction film?

    1. Try changing speaker setup to "stereo".
    2. Add more simultaneous sounds!
    3. Make sure you are not using a USB headset.
    4. Click the Troubleshooting tab and try various settings there. Reboot after each change.
    • Remove daily rewards and the raid finder;
    • remove membership bonuses;
    • disable PVE XP for daily challenges;
    • remove WBs forever on Crom;
    • slow down the AA gain;
    • lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
    • remove AoE looting;
    • add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
    • fix the 250+ms ping;
    • take the key away from Saddur;
    • revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;
    • remove energy and add skills (like taunt) back.

    What is wrong with USB headsets? Better audio quality?

    Nothing "wrong" with them but they bypass any soundcard you might have (and bring their own) so if the OP is using that he should make sure that it's set as the default playback device in windows.
