    Default Raid Bosses & Damage type

    Anyone know exactly how many raid (t1/2/3/4) bosses have both a main magic attack AND physical attack?

    So by main I mean an attack that's A.) Named spell/combo that does one of the magical damages. OR B.) The boss consistently uses (not some filler attack he does occasionally)

    in general, bosses on lower tiers (1&2) are mainly physical damage based, later on you´ll get some mixed ones (Leviathus or demo Keeper are good examples) and pure magic damage based as well (Louhi etc.)

    some kind of list would be really great, even I considered to make it some time ago (I´m fanatic into doing various lists, haha), but I would have to blow off dust from my DT first to remind me on some bosses but let´s see, I can start it and ppl can add/correct it..


    T1

    Vistrix
    - physical damage; casts Dark Flames, frontal cone fire damage
    - adds: physical damage

    Yakhmar
    - physical damage
    - adds: physical damage

    Kyllikki's Crypt
    Champion of the Honorguard
    - physical damage, some unholy as well I guess, can´t remember those spells anymore
    Kyllikki
    - magic cold damage? haven´t been there for years

    T2 - Black Ring Citadel
    Wing 1
    Gargoyle Master- physical damage in both phases
    - adds: physical damageYaremka
    - physical damage, casts electrical damage DoT on 2nd in aggro
    Sabazious the Freeloot
    - physical damage
    - adds: physical damage
    Wing 2
    Ahazu-Zagam
    - physical damage + poison damage cloud (mitigated by armor as well)
    - adds with physical damage
    Incubus & Succubus
    - both physical damage, Incubus some fire damage as welll, but nothing to write home about
    - adds physical as well
    Seruah
    - physical damage
    Chatha
    - 1st phase physical damage, 2nd phase (porting) fire damage DoT, 3rd phase (morphed) physical damage and some DoT
    - adds physical damage, but you´ll die mostly on your own retributed damage anyway

    Wing 3
    Athyr-Bast
    - Athyr-Bast physical damage
    - Imp melee unholy damage
    Leviathus
    - let´s see, primary attack physical damage, big AoE hit electrical (?) damage, DoT on offtank fire damage and big fire damage hits on certain % HP
    - hardmode adds primary physical damage, but cast pools in cone of them with ??? damage

    T3
    Lower Floor
    3 Brothers
    - guard boss physical damage, demo boss fire damage, PoM boss both physical and holy damage
    Hathor-Ka
    - switches between poison (armor mitigated) and cold phases (everyones favorite Miasma is poison damage)
    - adds physical damage
    Arbanus
    - primary frontal cone physical damage, Blood Draw ... damage, Unholy Word unholy damage
    Master Gyass
    - physical damage all the time, Impel is percentage based on catchers HP

    Upper Floor
    Louhi
    - holy damage
    - adds: phylacteries unholy damage
    Keeper of Artifacts
    Toth

    Good post, it will be very usefull for me. I always forget the kind of damage of the bosses. If someone can continue with T4 it will be great.

    T4:

    1. Sheng

    Fire DOT from Aflame. Almost completely avoidable.
    The rest is Physical

    2. Basilisk

    All physical

    3. Imp

    All physical

    4. Zodiac

    All Boss attacks are physical.
    Some Elemental Damage from "Heatwave", "Spring Storm", "Snow Storm". Almost completely avoidable.

    5. Yah Chieng.

    Boss is entirely magical.
    Adds are entirely physical.

    6. Memory Cloud

    Saddur: Physical
    Strom: Physical
    Mithrelle: Cold
    Lu Zhi: Magical (holy?) OR
    Keaira: Physical

    7. The Entity

    Almost entirely fire damage.
    Commanding Death is lightning damage.

    Doenst he also have a cone fire as well every minute or so?

    Leviathus

    Aoe is different based on position isnt it? Outside of water is fire, in water is electrical, one is when he is up in the air, one is when he comes down.

    Also the adds when crafting cast a leech in the water dont they? No idea as to type of damage (poison?)



    Hathor-Ka

    Adds on sides also have a fire aoe that pulses (cant remember if its hardmode/crafting only) can be negated by clicking on the braziers.

    I wouldn't mind a topic about shielding in PVE.
    Does it vary at all from PvP? All directional?

    I did a much more specific listing for T3.5 and T4 up to Emperor. If I can get to it, I'll post it.
