Damage Deflection is listed incorrectly as providing healing when above 100. This is not true. Invulnerabilities are what actually provide healing when above 100.

    Example:

Conqueror's Blessed Conquest gives 200 Damage Deflection. If you have over 100 penetration rating you can still hurt them. No matter what the penetration rating or damage type, you do not heal them.

Conqueror's Overcome the Odds gives +200% Invulnerabilities. When you hit them, they heal because they are over 100%. Molten Flesh is another example - it provides invulnerabilities to fire, pushing you over 100% and allowing it to heal you.

They might say "+200 damage mitigation", which accomplishes the same thing - it puts your mitigation about 100% so you are healed.

I just did an Argo Satha in Vile and checked again - it gains +200% damage mitigation, hence it heals when you attack it at the wrong time.

^ The same was with old HC, when it healed on poison and unholy damage - 200% invul to both.

A googly spreadsheet with all the calculations on what is known. That way, you can fiddle with numbers to see the resultant effects on various aspects such as mitigation, resistances, final and progressive DPS etc.

Some modifications to the debuff list (addenda in bold, modifications in italic) :

    SPIRITUAL TORMENT:
Necromancer (Bligthed One pet, Grim Hunger, Lifestrike) , Assassin (Miasma : Soul Toxin : 2 stacks), Priest of Mitra (Wandering Disciple)

Is the Penetration stat able to lower the opponent's Deflection to negative values (increasing the damage against a non-shielded or one-shielded target for example) ?

According to enex, you can't deal more damage than if the target had no deflection/shields. If the target is not using a bubble, 67 penetration rating is all you need to deal full damage to fully shielded side - more will be ignored.

extra special edit for assasin, barbarian and conqueror: When you fight with two weapons, your every white hit has a chance of doing an instant second hit. You can see your chance of getting an offhand attack on your character sheet (this is increased by offhand rating stat from items). An offhand hit will do half damage of a normal hit from mainhand, it still comes from DPS of right hand weapon. DPS of your left hand weapon is useless, the left hand weapon allows you to get offhand hits and whatever other stats it gives you.
(also ranger's offhand hit chance is a flat zero as far as I know, so even though they can use the most dashing of weapon combinations in sword and dagger, it's for nothing)

This (afaik) is not correct. Offhand hits are calculated based on your offhand weapon (as stated by post going back to 1.0.5, where this was changed, or some other patch around that time). I also tested it now, just to be sure. With Blade of the ancient Sands (81,4dps) in mainhand and Marlin spike (3,2dps) in offhand I did:

    Code:
You pierce Straw Man for 538.
Your offhand pierces Straw Man for 133.
The offhand hit is indeed based on your main hand damage (relative) since :
