As for the polemics going on, I had to fight with them too, just make your group tagged as [OPR] ("organized pug raid", whatever that is supposed to mean) and they will quiet down.
Apparently many of the original Crom players fail to conceive a situation in which you have a stable group of friends not sharing the same guild tag.

Has nothing to with us failing to conceive anything its just clear that the thread says guild raid is 100% guild members and they got ppl from like 3 or 4 different guilds.

I don't actually have any strong preferences about this, I just copied Shock's old thread :} But I agree that this situation seems to match the definition of an OPR from the first post in the thread pretty nicely, so we can use that label here.
